1892 and 2024 both have:
- A rematch between two men who had both served a term as president.
- Sex scandals
- Inflation as a top issue
- Frustration with corruption in both parties
- Foreign adventurism vs noninterventionism
- 3rd Party candidates
And guess what. In the 1892, the former president and challenger won the rematch.
