On Sunday 23 April 2023, there will be a national test of the UK Emergency Alerts service.
EMERGENCY ALERT - The mobile phone emergency siren will be tested on the entire population.
But worryingly, all other functions on the phone be disabled by this alert, until citizens acknowledge it.
