In a rare event, 12 of 20 American B-2 Spirit stealth strategic bombers took off from one of their air bases.

This is the first time that so many B-2s have taken to the skies at the same time.

This was so many of the bombers that none of the official pictures from the event show all 12 aircraft at once.
