✍️ On September 30, 2022, President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Heads of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik, leaders of the Kherson and Zaporozhye Oblasts' (regions), Vladimir Saldo and Evgeny Balitsky, signed treaties on the inclusion of the Donbass Republics and the two regions. The solemn ceremony marks the start of the formal process of their accession to Russia.
