Today my niece was released from the medical examiner. I’m praying we get answers from these results. She will be transported from Florida to Texas, where we will have a celebration of life.

Mandi was one of those people that lit up a room with her smile. She had an infectious spirit. I’ll never forget the day she moved to Florida. I couldn’t imagine her being that far from us. I watched her flourish, get her college degree, and live her dream as dive instructor.

She was recently divorced and involved in a new relationship. I will make it my mission to get involved with women who are afraid to speak out against their abusers. Her life was robbed from her and now two kids will grow up without their mom.
