Even after he took the oath of office in January 1961, President John F. Kennedy often relieved the stress of the executive branch by taking to the sea, most notably on the USCGC Manitou. This 62-foot racing yawl had been commissioned in the 1930s for race car driver James Lowe and eventually donated to the U.S. Coast Guard for use as a training vessel before it was requisitioned as JFK’s presidential yacht.
Remember, God is in Charge and is in each of our divine Human Species and Animals and much more.
I look forward taking « MANITOU » out to sea sometime soon with JFK at her helm.
