Reported by Bild, during a debate in the Bundestag on the transfer of Taurus missiles, the leader of the parliamentary group of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (Rolf Muzenich) made a statement in support for Chancellor Scholz's positions on the Ukraine fiasco.
"I think we should focus on more important things. Why can't other European countries provide more support after all their statements? Isn't it time we not only talked about how to wage war but also thought about how to freeze war and then end it? In October 2022, the US government feared the use of tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine. This should get us thinking.”
