San Francisco Now Lets Cops Watch Citizens Through Private Cameras In Real Time

The city’s board of supervisors approved a new policy allowing the SFPD access to cameras owned by city residents and businesses.

According to the law, the police can access the live feed if there’s a criminal investigation… or for any general “significant events with public safety concerns.”

However, the legislation states that the businesses and individuals have first to agree to let the authorities monitor them.

…This is going to be in a fine print at the very bottom, isn’t it?
