Your TEAM shouldn't be some ideological group, your team should be the TRUTH, whatever it may be - even if that truth goes against your ego identity.
If some so-called patriot is being a prick, grifter, or lying to their audience, there should be no problem in calling them out, even if they're "on the same team". We need more self-policing, not letting people act like clowns and be manipulative douchebags just because they say a few things we agree with.
