4. The HOAX NARRATIVE is difficult or impossible to verify for yourself
5. Economic and/or Political forces favor the sensationalism
6. The public response is explosive, Including by so-called “prestige publications”.. Doubters and Deniers are called the “ignorant, who know nothing of science”
7. Do not ever expect a correction.
