12/30/23 - “I’ve been a Caseworker for almost 20 years but unfortunately I was hit with a hard reality and I was diagnosed with Parkinson Disease in January 2023 after dealing with numerous symptoms for about 2 years where my health was deteriorating by the day, till finally after seeing a second neurologist it was determined that I definitely had PD.
Mayra worked as a HUB Housing Outreach Worker at BHcare from 2/21 - 7/23. Prior to that, she worked for the City of Bridgeport for 17 years.
