Supreme Court Justice Destroys Anti-Trump Prosecutor With One Question

This is epic.

Justice Samuel Alito posed a brilliant question to DOJ prosecutor Michael Dreeben during oral arguments on the President Trump immunity case regarding January 6.

Justice Alito wondered why Trump is the only former President to be charged, considering the horrific actions of prior presidents:

• George W. Bush could have been charged with lying to Congress to induce the U.S. to enter the war in Iraq.

• Barack Obama could have faced charges of murder for the deaths of U.S. citizens abroad caused by drone strikes.

• Franklin D. Roosevelt could have been charged under conspiracy against civil rights (18 USC 241) for his decision to intern Japanese Americans during World War II.

JUSTICE ALITO: “What about President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s decision to intern Japanese-Americans during World War II, couldn’t that have been charged?”

MICHAEL DREEBEN: “Today, yes.”

Take a listen to the entire exchange. Things did not go well for Michael Dreeben.

It is said that an ounce of gold bought 350 loaves of bread in the time of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, who died in 562 BC.

The same ounce of gold buys 850 loaves of bread today.
