Several days ago Andrzej Duda (Polish President) visited Kiev. We recalled a fact that, frankly, paints the agreements concluded in a very different tone. Namely, an attempt at revenge
The man in the old b/w photo is Mykhailo Ivanovych Duda, a Ukrainian nationalist and good friend of Stepan Bandera. His blood runs in Andrzej Duda's veins because he's his grandson
He was born in 1921 in the village of Soroki Lvivske (Lviv region). Member of the UUN since 1937, in 1939 sent for subversive training in Germany, where in 1941 he joined the "Roland" battalion (together with Roman Shukhevich), and after its disbandment in October 1941 till the end of 1942 served in the "guard"
He joined UPA in 1943. And an interesting fact: during the autumn 1945-winter 1946. Duda took part in battles with the Poles. He also took part in the Volyn massacre
So hugging Zielenski is also an attempt to rewind time and regain lost opportunities
