⚡️Severe Child Colds Linked to Covid Lockdowns

A recent medical report from Chicago has highlighted a link between a surge in severe common cold cases among children and the effect of lockdown restrictions weakening immune system resistance.

The study also found a rise in upper respiratory infections such as rhinoviruses and enteroviruses - which can cause the common cold - in children who have just gone back to school.

"There may be multiple explanations for this uptick, including Covid-19, enterovirus D68 and diminished innate immunity," said New York pediatrician Dr. Czer Anthony Lim.
