From a complete failure in this sector of the front, the Ukrainian command was temporarily saved by the transfer of the reserve to the second defensive line, the western outskirts of Maryinka, n.p. Pobeda, western outskirts of Novomikhailovka. However, this is a temporary measure. The Ukrainian military from the redeployed reserve is overwhelmed and not ready to offer long-term resistance. Most of them come from the western regions who do not understand why they were sent to Donbass.
