🇷🇺🇸🇾 Russian Navy sailors rescue passengers from a sinking boat in the Mediterranean Sea carrying 100 migrants

A boat with more than 100 illegal immigrants from Lebanon sinks near the Syrian Tartus. The command of the Russian group of troops in the SAR decided to assist the Syrian fleet in conducting a search and rescue operation.

Thanks to the coordinated actions of Russian and Syrian military sailors, 22 people were saved. Our military doctors provided them with medical assistance and took them to hospitals in Tartus. The search and rescue operation continues.
