My Fear of Public Speaking

When I was young, I was enrolled in an all boys school, run by some demonic Christian brothers. They weren't all demonic but plenty were, so things didn't go so good for the students there. I was one of the lucky ones, protected by guardian angels, left alone and free from the abuse my entire time there. Some of my classmates weren't so lucky.

While in this odd and dark school, we were encouraged to partake in public speaking contests with other students. Some of today's "biggest names" in Canada attended this trauma-based mind control institution. I was very nervous public speaking in these school competitions but I ended up public speaking for much of my career, as an adult.

This is me after speaking at The US Senate in Washington DC. I still get a little nervous at times before a public talk, even though I speak publicly for a living. The point is, you're always going to be a little nervous becoming a better and better version of yourself. You won't be nervous sitting down and letting your life pass you by. That's for sure. Although you can avoid being nervous by avoiding challenges in life, it's still not a good enough reason to play small and dodge uncovering your true innate human potential. And yes, I was in Washington DC where some bad people circulate but I brought the light as bright as I could bring it.
