I’m not surprised at all that Nigel Farage has reached the final few contestants and he’s the second favourite to win in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.
He’s charismatic, intelligent, quirky and in the eyes of the public an underdog because he’s “oppressed” by the system for being a “racist”. Of course we know he isn’t really oppressed compared to actual nationalists otherwise he wouldn’t be on national TV. He’s the epitome of controlled opposition, but I don’t think the public understand that, especially not people who watch reality TV. Personally I hope he wins. It would annoy all the right people and give us the argument that somebody from the so called “far right” is popular.
