Vandana Shiva. Is an Indian environmental activist, women's rights activist, globalization critic, genetic engineering critic and one of the main organizers of the "Monsanto Tribunal". She fights against patenting of seeds and is the founder of the institute "The Research Foundation for Science Technology and Ecology" (RFSTN) with which she established seed libraries in India. She calls for civil disobedience against the exploitation of people and nature by multinational corporations, against the enemies of democracy and against global capitalism. She says the responsibility for planet earth begins with each individual.
