How To Pray When the One Who Needs Healing Doesn't Believe in God, Doesn't Believe in Healing, or Rejects Prayer

When you perceive that someone would benefit from healing, but that person doesn't believe in God, doesn't believe in healing, or rejects prayer, it's wise to tread lightly and resist the temptation to impose your will on them.

Imposing your will on others is form of witchcraft.

The safest route when there's resistance from the one who needs healing is to ask the Holy Spirit to bring His healing presence upon them. It's also safe to ask God to change their mind about His ability and desire to heal them. With this approach, God is in control of the encounter. He's not going to negate their will and He may change their heart in his own way.
