Just got off the phone with both Uber and Greater Manchester police. Uber were very tight lipped, as you'd expect, but did say they'd jump on it immediately, GM police took the report and would pass it along to an officer, the lady at 101 did mention there's been a few similar reports about this video which is good as it'll pressure them to act.

Uber's driver registration system is supposed to protect you from incidents like this, you rate them every time you ride and if they drop below a rating then they're dropped from Uber.
With this driver's licence expiring next month was he planning on leaving the country after doing this horrific act or has he been doing this all the time he's been with Uber, preying on unconscious girls in the backseat?
Was he even 'on the clock' when doing this?
Is he part of an organised grooming gang and got caught this one time?
Could it have been a prostitute he was with?

Time will tell, if police do their job.
