To understand the Danchenko trial and what Durham will prove with evidence in the courtroom, you have to frame the trial correctly:

The Russian spy who fled the US in 2010 and then came back to the US in 2016 to work for the Clinton campaign as he helped manufacture the Steele Dossier hoax lied to the FBI in two specific ways -

1. Danchenko lied to the FBI to try to HIDE real sources of the dossier's Trump/Russia collusion allegations

2. Danchenko lied to the FBI to try to convince them the dossier's most controversial allegations came from a Russian fellow he had never actually met or spoken to

The proper framing of the trial is that:

The suspected Russian spy who was the main source for the Clinton Dirty Trick Dossier tried to hide the dossier's true sources and feed the FBI a fake source.

And it just so happens the FBI recorded several of these interviews with Danchenko. There are recordings and transcripts.
