🇺🇸 The arena was packed and stacked three balconies high with 2,500 freedom lovers. The energy in the theater felt more like a sporting event than a movie premiere.

The audience roared like thunder as Victory entered the spotlight. After plucking a few simple notes on her acoustic guitar, she opened her mouth and out came an otherworldly sound that triggered a wave of emotion that is impossible to fully articulate. I looked around to see hands over hearts and eyes filling with tears.

There we were, every race, color, creed, size and style of human being sharing the unifying experience of remembering how blessed we are. How blessed we are to live in America. How blessed we are to simply be alive.
