I do not support American money being spent to defend Ukraineโs border while OUR border is ignored and invaded.
But I do support auditing every dollar sent because the American taxpayer deserves to know.
Today, I met with USAIDโs Office of Inspector General.
Hereโs what I learned. ๐
Officials discussed how over $42 million is being used to audit the $113 BILLION being spent in Ukraine.
USAIDโs Office of Inspector General, Department of Defenseโs Office of Inspector General, and Department of Stateโs Office of Inspector General are working in a joint effort to conduct oversight.
Hereโs their plan outlining how they are going to do it.

It was encouraging to hear that some oversight is being done.
But with news of a corruption scandal involving Ukraine aid and with billions of US dollars continuing to flow in, Congress needs to act.
The American people deserve full transparency of where their money is spent.
