2020: Trump's GOP has become a white nationalist party, devoted to implementing a patriarchal dictatorship built on white supremacy.

2022, NYT: "The Trump age has given rise to...the far-right Latina."

Putin's liberal opponents in Russia have been warning for years that the US/UK obsession with believing that Putin is some sort of ubiquitous, omnipotent mastermind -- puppeteering all of the West -- is not just deranged but flattering to Putin:

I realize one of the most important taboos is to take note of anything Russians are saying about the war in Ukraine -- that's why the EU forced and US pressured platforms to ban Russian outlets -- but it seems important to hear in such a dangerous war.
Meanwhile, only 1% of voters 18-29 "strongly approve" of Biden's performance. 1%!

Only another 18% of young voters "somewhat approve." Very, very grim.

It's fascinating to read Obama -- and Antony Blinken's arguments -- against arming Ukraine. These comments were from 2015: after the Russians were backing separatists in E. Ukraine and after it annexed Crimea.

If you say any of this now, Dems accuse you of treason.
Whether one agrees or not with this position, it is clearly well within the realm of reasoned discourse and analysis. Yet after every last Dem - from AOC to Bernie - voted for Biden's $40b war package, you have to go to the GOP caucus to hear this in Congress. Why? Read it.
The NYT's claim that "Biden tried to isolate" MbL but failed is false.

From the start - way before Russia's invasion of Ukraine -- Biden refused to sanction MbL, then approved a massive arms deal to the Saudis, then announced his planned trip.

Biden has always hugged tyrants.
When Trump continued the US/Saudi "partnership" after Khashoggi's murder, it was cast as an unprecedentedly amoral President embracing useful tyrants over American values (see 👆).

As Biden meets today with the Saudi despot, it's: he has no choice given geo-strategic realities.
Biden is so widely and intensely unpopular that even his handling of Ukraine -- long an issue that united large majorities of Americans -- is now disapproved of by a majority of Americans (46% approve, 52% disapprove).

Kamala's approval rating down to 32% (!).

Liberals really do believe they are so enlightened and evolved on social justice issues that they own all marginalized groups and the members of them, to the point they think they're entitled not just to lecture you about them but use bigoted tropes against those who reject them.
