With the election over, Mulcahy now ignored the IRAO as he started the process of demobilising 37,000 of the 55-58,000 men that the Free State recruited during the Civil War In response to this in Nov 1923, 60 Officers mutinied & were dismissed without pay.…
The immediate response was an order for the arrest of the two men on a charge of mutiny; this caused alarm throughout Dublin when announced.
Labour Party Leader Thomas Johnson supported the governments actions and Richard Mulcahy (head of Army) issued a statement condemning the Mutiny.
Mulcahy ordered for the home of Minister for Industry and Commerce, Joseph McGrath, to be searched due to his sympathies to the IRAO.
McGrath then resigned because of dissatisfaction with the government's attitude to the IRAO officers and support for their perception that the Irish Army treated former British officers better than former IRA officers.
McGrath's resignation will come in later as his absence marked where Cumann na nGaedheal would work to abandon Griffith's economic program - as McGrath was one of the main promoters.

Fun facts on Joseph McGrath:
In a strongly worded letter, written in red ink, McGrath warned Collins not to take his last, ill-fated trip to Cork
After his resignation in March 1924 over the Army Mutiny controversy, he became labour adviser to Siemens-Schuckert, German contractors for the Ardnacrusha hydro-electric scheme on the Shannon.
McGrath founded the Irish Hospitals' Sweepstake in 1930, and the success of its sweepstakes made him an extremely wealthy man - went over Sweepstakes before. Liam Tobin mentioned above also helped set up the Sweepstakes.
He had other extensive and successful business interests always investing in Ireland and became Ireland's best-known racehorse owner and breeder, winning The Derby with Arctic Prince in 1951.

His reasoning seems to be that they are “Jacobites” I.e - “Jacob” and the true Jews (black Israelites) are the people of Jacob

“We honour St. Patrick’s Day because in it we see the spiritual conception of the separate identity of the Irish race. On this Festival then our prayer is: Honour to St. Patrick the Irish Apostle, and Freedom to his people.”
