The 10 items contrived in Matthew’s termination letter were either mischaracterizations or misattributions, but they all served the same goal.
Rick demanded that Matt sign a non compete and an NDA in retaliation for Matt’s foreknowledge of my production of Watch the Water.
Why this was cause for retaliation is beyond me.
I produced Watch the Water on my own time and had no exclusivity or non compete agreements with Flowing Streams. It was a private contract that I executed shortly before and immediately after my resignation from Flowing Streams.
The characterization of my words, beliefs and actions listed in Matt’s letter are also wholly and intentionally inacurate.
Matthew Skow’s wrongful termination and subsequent public character assassination by “pastor” Wiles is yet another in a very long line of abused employees spanning 20 years. I encountered 5 in my tenure there of only 15 months.
I wonder who the common denominator is?
I’m also curious why Rick would publish a private, internal document such as this…
