Hey guys!! I wanted to drop in and give u an update. I see your comments wondering where I am..
3 months ago my daughter got her blood results back and her platelets were dangerously low. We referred to a hematologist/oncologist. He started thorough testing and weโve been left with no answers other than he was ruling out leukemia for the time being. Her platelets were at 40k and should be at 150k. Sheโs had good days and bad days w/ headaches, dizziness and just exhausted.
Yesterday at her appointment her platelets dropped to 13k and we got the dreaded news that they would be testing her for leukemia. As you can imagine, I lost my mind. We got a call from the oncologist late last night and three specialists have ruled out leukemia and she will start transfusions next week. She isnโt able to play softball for now and as most of you know, we live at the softball fields.
We sure could use your prayers ๐๐ปโค๏ธ Love you guys and Iโll be back with more updates soon.
