First report on the Citywest says three men were hospitalised while several others were injured after a fight broke out at 6:30. No arrests so far nor any information on which towns those responsible will be sent to next.

2015 Throwback:

Asylum seeker states she is unable to get along with other cultures & religions in Direct Provision

But diversity will work when released into society, right?
We're getting a lot of footage emerging from Citywest. Two long clips here recorded by asylum seekers.

In the second clip, the guy says he believes the fight was between Algerians and Georgians, two groups with very high asylum application rejection rates (over 95% most years), but they keep arriving as they're ultimately being allowed to remain mostly.

You can see them attacking the security at about 35 seconds in.

Nice long panning shot here so my compliments to the asylum seeker who recorded it.

Remember the government originally told us in July that the 764-room Citywest Hotel was to be leased for two years to accommodate up to 2,000 Ukrainian refugees.

So when they're telling you that some building in your locality is earmarked to house Ukrainian women and children, that can change very quickly.

Philip Dwyer did a stream at the hotel tonight. I haven't watched it yet: t.me/PhilipDwyerMOI/2716
Dublin Says NO protest

A press release from the Dublin Protest committees on Saturday's protest:

"The horrors of mass migration, contrived diversity quotas and demonisation of the native population has instilled in the Irish a deep sense of contempt for the political class and its tentacles.

"This culminated on Saturday with Volunteers gathering together and outnumbering the salaried State agents 2-1.

"The counter protest, 100-200 members of Dublin's upper middle class, consisted almost entirely of active members of political parties and their associated trust fund runts.

"We would like to confirm, and we take no satisfaction in this, that they embarrassingly chanted "power to the people" in DortSpeak, the official language of the governments paid "Community Champions".

"The sight of TD Paul Murphy screaming "fascists!" at women and children is worth noting as well as the visible absence of Sinn Féin."

"By ‘Far Right’ they mean you, by the way. For them, any lucid Irish man or woman who objects to the Government-directed plantation of working class communities is culpable, whether it be a young couple cognisant of migration’s effect on the housing crisis, or, perhaps, a father concerned that male migrants may pose a threat to his daughter’s safety."

DUBLIN SAYS NO: Here is my report on the entire protest. Shelbourne Hotel saw both sides square up to each other in a tense scene. Organisers and locals then delivered remarks at the Mansion House, supported by Michael Leahy of the Irish Freedom Party who came all the way from Co. Clare.

On the way to block O'Connell Bridge, a confused girl screamed abuse at protesters on Westmoreland Street, giving them the middle finger. After blocking O'Connell Bridge for 10 minutes protesters were confronted by an open borders activist who verbally abused female protesters and tried to attack Malachy Steenson.

At the GPO, speakers delivered their final remarks and urged everyone to bring an extra person to the next protest.

"The mistakes and miscalculations of the past two decades are returning in force to haunt the Irish State and comprador political establishment. No press release, no inorganic anti-racist initiative, no hate speech diktat can detract from the almighty failure, and social catastrophe citizens stand to face from the decaying asylum system."

If they're in places of safety, why do they need to travel to Ireland at all ever?
The government admitted today that protests outside hotels where asylum seekers are being accommodated are effective because they succeed in putting other hoteliers off wanting to accommodate any.

There is now huge difficulty in getting hoteliers to take in non-Ukrainians despite the lucrative contracts on offer.

Also today, the government signalled their intention to ban such protests.
