Roderic O'Gorman's free-for-all blamed for massive surge in asylum applications on Newstalk today.
"Roderic O'Gorman has a lot to answer for."
"This white paper was translated into many different languages and the owner of this direct provision centre told me a lot of asylum seekers have arrived here in the last year because of this...and the figures show that."

Bertie Ahern was advised in 2000 by the ERSI to slow down the economy
Instead Bertie wanted to attract 200,000 “skilled migrants”, tax cuts and measures to support home owners
The ESRI said the strategy “could end in tears”. It stated budget changes to slow down the economy now would be better than importing immigrants.
Instead, Ahern and Fianna Fáil opened the gates to the first mass wave of immigration and well the rest is history.

"‘About 8 years ago 75% on the Fingal housing list were non-Irish. That meant that for every 10 houses that came available 7.5 went to non-Irish, new housing stock in Mulhuddart and Tyrrelstown area certainly are all African and eastern European. It is causing problems in terms of integration, same in Balbriggan as well’ Empower."

I try to impress the point that it's not class warfare so much as nation warfare, but they don't make it easy.

I am disgusted that someone would do this. I visited the so called Stone of Destiny at Tara 3 years ago. Geoffrey Keating (a 16/17thC historian) claimed that the real Lia Fáil was taken to Scotland, where it is now known as the Stone of Scone. Some people believe Keating so much that they are willing to desecrate what to many Irish people is a sacred place. Keating was not at all reliable, but even if he is right, it still would not change the fact that the Hill of Tara is an ancient holy place and people come from far and wide to enjoy it, including the alleged Lia Fáil. This grafitti is an eyesore and is the work of a degenerate who ought to be flogged.

"They're using the most powerful tool — that of disinformation to whip up false concerns."
TD Neale Richmond on ways the government wants to attempt to impede opposition to their immigration policies.
Lucky Khambule talks about the fears of the residents in asylum centres who wonder will they be shot when protests occur but nobody is allowed on to discuss the legitimate fears of communities when bus loads of foreign men are dumped on their doorsteps, other than to dismiss these fears as unfounded.
