A former RAF squadron leader has told of his despair after losing £20,000 on his home when the Government announced it was opening an asylum seeker centre in his village.
PA Yorkshire were near Linton for a social event and stopped by the RAF base-turned-Asylum Centre afterwards.
The village is very quiet, lots of “wrong plan, wrong place” signs in front lawns and windows.
Hope Not Hate did their job and defanged the locals, they got to have their one sanctioned protest and will now sit on their hands until the coaches arrive.
PCSOs were on a rotational patrol, getting the locals used to a constant police presence? Or an early warning system for ‘far right’ protests on a weekend? Who knows.

The Shropshire branch delivered over 1,000 grooming gang leaflets at multiple locations in Telford.
We originally planned to give these leaflets out at the Tommy Robinson event in Telford last month. Unfortunately, Tommy does not seem to appreciate real-world community based solutions to the grooming gang epidemic, therefore we were not welcome at his event which was supposedly about grooming.
We instead decided to give the leaflets out to the locals who have actually been impacted by the grooming gang problem in Telford.

Distributed in Linton yesterday, the good weather meant many were outdoors which allowed for a lot of interesting conversation.
Everyone we spoke to was upset with the pro-AS tact that the official campaign had taken but interestingly they also all thought they were alone in this feeling, not so!
The other sentiment was that it was too late, it’s a done deal. It’s never too late! Linton should be a national embarrassment for a Conservative government that’s trying to appear tough on immigration.
Due to leftist hysteria over AS living conditions, the main point of the official Action Groups opposition, they get to unload 1500 young men on a sleepy village AND look like immigration hardliners while they do it!
