The Communist pro-migrant hotel counter demo was looking a little lost today. #ErskineSaysNo
Today in 687 Cuthbert of Lindisfarne died at Inner Farne in what was then the Kingdom of Northumbria . He had been born in 634 in Dunbar which was the part of Northumbria but is now part of Scotland.

Cuthbert of Lindisfarne was an Anglo-Saxon saint of the early Northumbrian church in the Celtic tradition. He was a monk, bishop and hermit, associated with the monasteries of Melrose and Lindisfarne in the Kingdom of Northumbria, today in north-eastern England and south-eastern Scotland. Both during his life and after his death he became a popular medieval saint of Northern England, with a cult centred on his tomb at Durham Cathedral. Cuthbert is regarded as the patron saint of Northumbria. His feast days are 20 March (Catholic Church, Church of England, Eastern Orthodox Church, Episcopal Church and 4 September (Church in Wales, Catholic Church).
Sturgeon seems to have lost her grip on reality, though some would argue that happened years ago.

Claiming that there is no crisis in the SNP is obviously either a barefaced lie or she has no awareness of the reality of the situation her party faces.

A massive loss of members within the last few years, something she claims she was unaware of, resignations of senior party members, missing money, police investigations, internal warfare between different factions in the party, and doubts over the handling of the leadership election all point towards a crisis that is only deepening. But Sturgeon says all is good. She obviously has no grip on reality.

This is what got us to where we are now in this country: the SNP's refusal to see reality and blindly sticking to policies that were not working and in some cases the public actively opposed.

She has gone, but now the SNP itself must go and Scotland must have real nationalism in its place. Help us work towards this. join up at [email protected]
On this day in 1729 John Law died in Venice. He was born Edinburgh.

John Law was a economist who distinguished money, a means of exchange, from national wealth dependent on trade. He served as Controller General of Finances under the Duke of Orleans, who was regent for the juvenile Louis XV of France. In 1716, Law set up a private Banque Générale in France. A year later it was nationalised at his request and renamed as Banque Royale. The private bank had been funded mainly by John Law and Louis XV; three-quarters of its capital consisted of government bills and government-accepted notes, effectively making it the nation's first central bank. Backed only partially by silver, it was a fractional reserve bank. Law was a gambler who would win card games by mentally calculating odds. He originated ideas such as the scarcity theory of value and the real bills doctrine. He held that money creation stimulated an economy, paper money was preferable to metal, and dividend-paying shares a superior form of money.
For years now the SNP have attacked the Conservative government, saying that the NHS was not safe under them and that they wanted to introduce private healthcare. But, according to one leading doctor, that's exactly where medicine in Scotland is heading under the SNP.

Dr Andrew Buist, the chair of the British Medical Association’s Scottish general practice committee, said that without action to address the issues faced by family doctors, Scotland could see the emergence of “under-doctored areas” – where a lack of GPs makes it difficult for patients to register with a practice and will lead to a rise in private healthcare and a two-tier care system in Scotland.

We are already seeing this in SNP Scotland when it comes to dentistry, with increasing numbers of practices becoming private and people finding it harder to register with NHS dentists.

The SNP claim they want to do away with inequality but it appears they are becoming the cause of it.

Last week PA Scotland activists laid a wreath in memory of Kriss Donald.

In previous years we have held large scale services in his memory however this year with the ongoing #ErskineSaysNo campaign the decision was taken to have a lower key memorial. We at Patriotic Alternative Scotland are looking to try and halt the number of potential future Kriss Donalds we have in this nation by stopping the flow of non-White fighting aged men being shipped into Scotland.
The Edinburgh-based World Care Foundation has bought the old governor's house at Saughton prison with the intention to turn it into a Muslim primary school and potentially later also a Muslim high school.

Edinburgh Council refused permission last year for the project but the charity is seeking permission again this year.

The charity says that the school is needed as Edinburgh's Muslim population has grown from 11,000 in 2011 to 17,000 by 2018 and is continuing to grow rapidly.

Muslim schools south of the border have proved to be problematic, with many having lax teaching standards and being found to be promoting a radical fundamentalist version of Islam. Not something we want to see in Scotland. Hopefully the council will reject this school again.

On this day in 1406 the 11 year old future King James the first was captured by English pirates on his way to safety in France.

Due to political turmoil in Scotland and the death of his older brother David, Duke of Rothesay, under suspicious circumstances during detention by their uncle, Robert, Duke of Albany. James' other brother, Robert, died young. Fears surrounding James's safety grew through the winter of 1405/6 and plans were made to send him to France. In February 1406, James was forced to take refuge in the castle of the Bass Rock in the Firth of Forth after his escort was attacked by supporters of Archibald, 4th Earl of Douglas. He remained at the castle until mid-March, when he boarded a vessel bound for France. On 22 March, English pirates captured the ship and delivered the prince to Henry IV of England. The ailing Robert III died on 4 April and the 11-year-old James, now the uncrowned King of Scots, would not regain his freedom for another eighteen years.

The Clean & Pure Soap and Patriotic Alternative story continues to grow. Today Radio Skye made it the main local news feature. It sounds like a free advertisement for both.

Let us know in the comments what you think.
On this day James Francis Edward Stuart attempted an invasion of Scotland in support of the Jacobite cause, trying to land at the Firth of Forth on 23 March 1708. The fleet of Admiral Sir George Byng intercepted the French ships, which, combined with bad weather, prevented a landing and James was forced to sail back to France and his plans to try to retake the British throne had to wait a further 7 years until the Jacobite rising of 1715, which also ended in failure.
On this day in 1603 Queen Elizabeth the first of England died. This led to James VI of Scotland ascending to the English and Irish thrones as well as the Scots throne.

Elizabeth would never name her successor, Robert Cecil, Elizabeths advisor, was obliged to proceed in secret. He therefore entered into a coded negotiation with James VI of Scotland, who had a strong but unrecognised claim. Cecil coached the impatient James to humour Elizabeth, which appeared to work with Elizabeth praising James highly.

James continued to reign in all three kingdoms for 22 years, a period known as the Jacobean era, until his death in 1625. After the Union of the Crowns, he based himself in England from 1603, returning to Scotland only once, in 1617, and styled himself "King of Great Britain and Ireland". He was a major advocate of a single parliament for England and Scotland. In his reign, the Plantation of Ulster and English colonisation of the Americas began.
We can only hope that the next First Minister will see sense and not challenge the Westminster block on the Gender Recognition Bill.

The Greens are the main architects of the "woke" agenda that is being pushed on the Scottish people. Even though they are the junior partners in the coalition, many have realised that the tail is wagging the dog when it comes to the SNP agreeing to all the Greens' policy demands.

So, hopefully, we will see them flounce off out of the coalition and disappear back into obscurity. The Greens are not the cuddly tree-huggers that many believe, but people with a left-wing degenerate agenda that can only make Scotland a worse place, not better.

Join us in opposing the woke agenda that is being Imposed of on the people of Scotland.

On 25 March 1005 Malcolm II of Scotland fought and killed the father-and-son rulers of Scotland, Kenneth III of Scotland and his son Giric II of Scotland, a Mormaer. The site of the battle is on the north side of the loch.

King Kenneth's Cairn was built in memory of the son of King Duff, who was killed in the battle of Monzievaird that year and buried on Iona. It stands in a prominent position on the edge of the steep escarpment of Corrie Barvick.
On this day in 1402 the murder takes place in Falkland Palace of David Stewart, 1st Duke of Rothesay, the oldest son of King Robert III of Scotland and heir to the throne. He is killed on the orders of his uncle, Robert Stewart, 1st Duke of Albany.

David Stewart was heir apparent to the throne of Scotland from 1390 and the first Duke of Rothesay from 1398. He was named after his great-granduncle, David II of Scotland.

In late February 1402, while travelling officially to St Andrews, David was arrested just outside the city at Strathtyrum in a sting operation which had been arranged by Albany, at that time in complicit alliance with David's brother-in-law, Archibald, the fourth Earl of Douglas, who was offended with Rothesay for his unfaithfulness to his wife, the sister of Douglas. (David's father-in-law, the highly influential third Earl, had died two years before, in 1400.) The pretext for David's arrest was that the three-year period of his lieutenancy had expired.
The wheels of Scottish justice move extremely slowly, at least when it comes to investigating the SNP it appears.

But maybe we are starting to see some movement, as Police Scotland are now investigating high-value transactions made by the SNP, including over £80,000 in vehicle purchases.

There should be questions being asked about why this investigation into whether £600,000 has been misappropriated by figures inside the SNP has taken so long. The Police have so far failed to interview Sturgeon or her husband, who were in charge of SNP finances. It has to be asked why not.

The SNP is disarray and there is evidence of wrongdoing within its ranks. It is not serving the people of Scotland and its brand of "nationalism" betrays the indigenous population while favouring outsiders.

Scotland needs real nationalism, not this fake nationalism. Join us in making this happen.

On this day in 1625 James the VI/I died at Theobalds House in Hertfordshire  and is buried in Westminster Abbey. The position of the tomb was lost for many years until his lead coffin was found in the Henry VII vault, during an excavation in the 19th century.

James VI and I was King of Scotland as James VI from 24 July 1567 and King of England and Ireland as James I from the union of the Scottish and English crowns on 24 March 1603 until his death in 1625. Although he wanted to bring about a closer union, the kingdoms of Scotland and England remained individual sovereign states, with their own parliaments, judiciaries, and laws, both ruled by James in personal union.

James was the son of Mary, Queen of Scots, and a great-great-grandson of Henry VII, King of England and Lord of Ireland, and thus a potential successor to all three thrones. He succeeded to the Scottish throne at the age of thirteen months, after his mother was compelled to abdicate in his favour.
The next few years could be interesting, after Yousaf won the race to be the new SNP leader.

Scotland has been in decline under the SNP and now the party have just put a man who has failed in every ministerial position he has held in charge of the country. Even his old school chum and Labour Party leader Sarwar says that he does not think that Yousaf has what it takes to be first minister.

It could be a painful few years ahead for the Scottish people - especially the indigenous population - as Yousaf has in the past declared how unhappy he is that White people are in charge of many aspects of running Scotland.

Yousaf could be facing difficulties within his own party too, with massive disagreement on subjects such as gender recognition and how independence is being handled. After all, only 70% of SNP members bothered to vote and Yousaf only managed to defeat Forbes by 4% at the end of the day.

Scotland needs real nationalism, not Yousaf nationalism. Join us.
