โThe experience that was had in this common course and condition, tried sundry years, and that amongst godly and sober men, may well evince the vanity of that conceit of Platosand other ancients, applauded by some of later times; โ that the taking away of property, and bringing in community into a common wealth would make them happy and flourishing; as if they were wiser than God. For this community (so far as it was) was found to breed much confusion and discontent, and retard much employment that would have been to their benefit and comfort. For the young-men that were most able and fit for labor and service did repine that they should spend their time and strength to work for other menโs wives and children, without any recompense. The strong, or man of parts, had no more indivision of victuals and cloths, than he that was weak and not able to do a quarter the other could; this was thought injusticeโฆโ

The U.S. influence network, linked to individuals associated with the U.S. military, operated across many internet services and focused on Afghanistan, Algeria, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Somalia, Syria, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Yemen.
Meta says it removed 39 Facebook accounts, 26 Instagram accounts, 16 Facebook Pages, and 2 Facebook groups for violating the "coordinated inauthentic behavior" policy.
A dead giveaway the accounts were fake was that they were posting during U.S. business hours.
In many cases, the campaigns criticized Iran, China, and Russia, focusing on the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
But, of course, no one's going to care about this kind of interference...
