Today's progress on the plot.

The ground has been raked and is now ready for planting. The raised beds have been put in place and these will be filled next week. We have also planted a new apple tree amongst the raised beds. There is still some work to do in the seating area by the shed, but all in all the plot is looking fantastic.

The weather was glorious. The plot is finally coming back to life.

A lot of channel owners seem to be worried about losing followers. Some feel the need to post content every day, others are afraid to post something with the fear of losing subscribers. I just want to remind these channel owners that strangers are not entitled to read our rants. They don't pay you and your channel isn't the only channel on Telegram. If they unsubscribe, it's either not personal or they were never vibin' anyway. There's no trophy when you arrive at 10K subscribers or anything. Quality above quantity. Big numbers don't matter if it's the wrong kind of people behind the numbers. Gather the few good ones, those who resonate with you.

My aim has never been to grow my channel, I post whatever I feel like and all too seldom but most of you are still here. Thank you all for showing an interest in my/our spiritual journey. 🙏

A selection of the legends and fairytales Ladybird Classic books for children. They just don’t make them as good as this anymore. Although you can still find them here and there in old charity shops.
The beautiful cherry tree is in bloom in the nature garden on our allotment site. 🌸

It’s the March full moon tonight – seeing in the month of Hrêðmônað or Hrēþ-mōnaþ. Our family hearth will be honouring both Frig and Hrêð (Hrēþ) tonight.

Hrethmonath is named for their goddess Hretha, to whom they sacrificed at this time – Bede.

The name Hretha still holds a lot of mystery. Rudolf Simek compared her to the Roman god Mars – who gave his name to March, whilst Grimm compared Hretha with the OHG Hruod or Hruodâ. Our friends at the Frithstead associate her with Fríġe, wife of Woden (see above).
