FBI deadline to turn over the document requested by James Comer is today.

James Comey on Donald Trump: “I think he poses a near existential threat to the rule of law. He will do everything he can in a new term to try to tear down the institutions that he sees as threats and dismantle them and the people who occupy them.”

Comey acknowledges that the FBI made some mistakes by "not communicating the status of certain sources" (Like the fact that HIllary Clinton paid for the Steele Dossier and they all knew it was fake) clearly but they won't do it again so everything is fine now.
Comey says that two doors lead to hell but they chose the least painful one before the 2016 election as he doesn't regret swaying public opinion before the election for Trump.

James Comer says that they are “already in the process of drafting legislation to hold an Oversight Committee markup (meeting) next week to hold Director Wray in contempt of Congress.”

He went on to explain that it will look similar to what the Democrats did with Steve Bannon.

The FBI says they will cooperate with the Oversight Committee, but state they fear that turning over the documents “could potentially jeopardize investigations and put lives at risk.”

FBI Director Wray has confirmed the existence of the FD-1023 form alleging then-Vice President Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national.

He’s allowing this unclassified record to be reviewed at the FBI but hasn’t produced it to committee.

If the FBI fails to hand over the FD-1023 form as required by the subpoena, @RepJamesComer will begin contempt of Congress proceedings
