MA school wins ELECTRIC SHOCK for kids with disabilities legal battle - despite report of exploiting the β€œtorture”

A federal court has ruled that Judge Rotenberg Center for children with disabilities may continue to use ELECTRIC SHOCK therapy to curb aggressive and self-harming behaviour of students.

β€œThe idea of using electric shocks to torture children has been recognised as unconscionable around the world,” according to a disabilities rights group - but parents of the 55 kids β€œapproved” for the treatment BACK the β€œlife-saving treatment of last resort”.

β€œThe real torture is what these children are subjected to if they don’t have this programme,” institute and treatment founder Matthew Israel. β€œThey’re drugged up to the gills with drugs that cause them to be so sedated that they essentially sleep all day.”

A 2006 report found that the shock treatment was in fact regularly used for minor disobedience, such as β€œnagging, swearing and failing to maintain a neat appearance”.

Next in Afghanistan…CHINA? Taliban welcomes β€œfriend” Beijing to reconstruct country - MASSIVE investment discussed!

Taliban spox Suhail Shaheen says the group is hoping to talk to Beijing β€œas soon as possible” about investing in Afghanistan’s reconstruction, and guarantees the safety of any workers.

β€œWe have been to China many times and we have good relations with them,” Suhail said, also claiming that the Taliban now control 85% of the country.

In 2011, the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) won a $400MN bid to drill three oil fields for 25 years, containing roughly 87 million barrels of oil, while Chinese firms have also gained rights to mine copper at Mes Aynak in Logar province.

The official Kabul government has previously been hesitant to engage in Chinese investment, but reports claim talks are intensifying over extending the MAMMOTH $62BN China-Pakistan Economic Corridor to Afghanistan.
