Unser politisch inkorrektes Spiel The Great Rebellion wurde also in der BRD auf Steam gesperrt (auf GOG und https://great-rebellion.com ist es noch erhältlich). Wir gehen davon aus, dass dies durch Behörden veranlasst wurde und keine eigenständige Entscheidung von Steam war.

Die Begründung wäre allerdings interessant. Falls man sich darauf bezieht, dass angeblich mutmaßlicherweise einige Bossgegner Ähnlichkeiten mit deutschen Politikern haben sollen (alle Ähnlichkeiten sind rein zufällig), nun - besagte Gegner sind in der Steam-Version ja gar nicht enthalten.

P.S. VPNs existieren.

So, it seems that our game has indeed been banned from the German Steam store and this was not just because of age ratings like some people suggested. We are not sure yet who exactly triggered this, wether Steam did this on their own or there was meddling from the authorities.

We'll keep you updated!

Here is the statement we got from Steam regarding The Great Rebellion being region-locked in Germany. We asked them what content it is specifically that makes them believe the game is unsuitable for sale in Germany and are waiting for a response.
