If David Lammy wants to be around more black people there is an entire continent where he can achieve just that.

Why should Britain be forced to change? We were never asked if we wanted this.

James Costello is such a sweetheart. He has just written me a letter saying he’s heard about Sam’s sentence and he’s asked me to take £500 out of his fundraiser and spend it on our children. Obviously we wouldn’t do that but I wanted to share this just to show you all what a lovely guy he is. He is serving the longest sentence out of all the PA guys who are currently inside, being sentenced to five years and having to serve about three and a half years. Still, he is always thinking of other people. It was a pleasure to shout his name down the megaphone on Saturday during our demo.

We will make sure that James receives the maximum canteen money each week so that he can be as comfortable as possible while inside. Please consider writing him a letter if you haven’t done so already:

Hey folks. I went to visit Sam this evening and on the way out they handed me this box of books. They are the books they’re not permitting him to have. I think some of them they’ve decided are not suitable and others are just because they’ve said he has too many books in his cell so he’s not allowed any more. It’s annoying because it says online there’s no limit to the number of books a prisoner can have, and also I know he would really love some of these.

Let me know if you sent one of these and you want me to post it to you to use for yourself or get a refund. Otherwise I will save them for Sam when he gets out or is allowed more books.

If you have daughters, the most important thing you need to teach them is how to say no.

I’m having one of those days where everything is going wrong and every little task I have isn’t being completed for whatever reason. I haven’t slept for the last few nights because I’ve had the worst pregnancy insomnia too. Then to top it all off, I just went to feed and clean the chickens and when I came back in, the bag of chicken feed split open and covered my kitchen floor in chicken feed. I don’t know where Sam has put the dustpan and brush. I went to get the vacuum, it needs charging... So I sat down on the floor and thought, ok take a deep breath and we’ll fix it.

Catherine, who was watching from the side, toddles off and then comes back in with a big smile on her face and the dustpan and brush. Honestly, children are amazing and make everything better 🥰

Hey all. Little update from Sam:

They haven’t been giving him the stamped addressed envelopes from the people who have sent him letters. I don’t think they’re being funny with him. I just think the lady who told us we could do that got it wrong. So Sam has to buy stamps to be able to write to people and he’s only allowed to spend £25 a week at the moment and most of that goes on phone credit. He wanted me to share this so people don’t think he’s being rude not replying. He just doesn’t have a way of replying at the moment.
