Tonight’s bible study has been postponed. Sylvia is at a womens conference in Pawleys Island SC.

Heavenly Father, who has put within the hearts of children the kind of pure faith that is pure faith that is fit for heaven, remind us how to have that kind of trust in You. Help us to humble ourselves and how to put aside our foolish thoughts of self-sufficiency and self-importance. Teach us to lay down our fears and anxieties and to allow You to carry us in times of trouble and comfort us in times of sadness. Forgive our pridefull denial of our need for You. We long to inhabit Your kingdom with You, living forever as Your children.

which brings down something of
heaven into the midst of our
rough earthliness.
