Diphtheria is a serious bacterial infection that affects the nose, throat & sometimes, the skin of an individual

People most at risk include children & adults who have not received any dose of the pentavalent vaccine

Symptoms of #diphtheria include fever, runny nose, sore throat, cough, red eyes, swollen neck & in severe cases, a thick grey/white patch at the back of the throat with difficulty breathing

Early diagnosis of #LassaFever when experiencing symptoms increases the chances of survival.

Symptoms include fever, body weakness, sore throat, muscle & chest pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, cough & abdominal pain
