Following the outbreak of the Marburg virus disease in equatorial guinea, NCDC advises Nigerian citizens & residents to AVOID ALL BUT ESSENTIAL TRAVELS TO EQUATORIAL GUINEA AT THIS TIME.

Cases of #cholera are recorded mostly during the rainy season

To prevent the spread of #cholera, Nigerians are urged to:
Only consume water from safe sources
Stop open defaecation
Dispose of refuse and waste properly
Ensure proper drainage of sewage
Parents & caregivers should ensure that their children/wards receive the anti-diphtheria vaccine as recommended in the NPHCDA childhood immunisation schedule.

Visit a primary health care centre close to you to get the vaccine.
