ACTUAL CALL: An ILLEGAL alien woman ran a traffic light & struck another vehicle causing disabling damage to both vehicles. She had no drivers license & no insurance. The man she hit only had liability insurance. I issued the woman tickets for no DL & no insurance.

The man asked me what he could do in order to get his car paid for. I explained he would have to file a civil lawsuit. The man became very upset, began crying, and yelling at me to do more.

I explained under the current law there was nothing more I could do. The man began cussing me & telling me it's not right that he has to suffer because she has no DL or insurance & I needed to at least arrest her if she's here illegally. Again I explained there was nothing I could do. The man continued to cuss me until he got in the wrecker to go with his car.

**FYI- I took a lot more verbal abuse than I normally would because I totally understand the man's frustration. I realize his frustration is with illegals pouring into our country & nothing being done. I understand since I am a police officer he blames me as much as he does anyone else. Joe Biden places all police nationwide at risk because people take their frustration out on us at the street level. Just another example of why this country & law enforcement needs Donald Trump. 💯👮👮‍♀️🚔...

LAPD News:  Officer Involved Shooting in Central Area

On February 3, 2024, around 2:14 pm, Officers received a radio call of man armed with a stick threatening employees, possibly under the influence. Officers responded, encountered the suspect and an OIS occurred.

Less lethal munition was deployed. The sequence of events is unknown at this time.
The suspect was struck by gunfire. The LA City Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the suspect to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The suspect was described as a male white in his late 30s-40s.

An officer sustained a small laceration to his hand he was treated and released at scene.  It is unknown at this time how the officer sustained his injury.

This is very preliminary information. The business was a manufacturing business.
