UPDATE: Domestic terrorists gathered on the campus of Atlanta's Emory University on Thursday morning.

Several dozen people with tents and signs occupied the lawn of the university's Decatur campus. 

According to an article posted on Mondoweiss.net, the protest was against the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center and in support of the people in Palestine.

"Several dozen protesters trespassed into Emory University’s campus early Thursday morning and set up tents on the Quad. These individuals are not members of our community. They are activists attempting to disrupt our university as our students finish classes and prepare for finals. Emory does not tolerate vandalism or other criminal activity on campus. The Emory Police Department ordered the group to leave and contacted Atlanta Police for assistance."

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office, Louisiana, sadly announced the death of Corrections Deputy Chanterria “Mackey” Albert. She was shot and killed. 

Deputy Albert was only 23 years old and will be sorely missed.  

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office and St. Landry Crime Stoppers will assist the Opelousas Police Department with manpower or anything else they would need to bring the killer to justice.
