After today’s NYT hit-piece on the Durham investigation, Adam Schiff was just asked about his thoughts on Durham in an interview on MSNBC.

“Bill Barr was a terrible AG and he authorized this investigation because Donald Trump was demanding it…

And for all of the efforts that Barr and his special counsel made to try to investigate the investigators and discredit the origins of the investigation into Trump’s Russian connections, it has produced almost nothing.”

This is called getting ahead of the story.
They know something is coming.
Panic.

The NYT's hit piece is really quite something. It's HEAVY on the spin and programming.

It's trying to force upon the reader a view that Durham a) never had a basis beyond gross political warfare, b) that he has failed and c) that he is done.

It's short on facts or any useful information, save this paragraph above.

Did Durham pursue a line of evidence that lead him to Soros?

"The emails yielded no evidence that Mr. Durham has cited in any case he pursued"...

Yet.

Can we put down the silly nonsensical theories that this was some gay lovers quarrel or a fake attack and just recognize and accept that a crazy person did exactly what the police reports say he did?

MSNBC actually reporting on Durham’s pursuit of a George Soros aide’s emails 👀

Durham’s request to gain access apparently was rejected twice by a federal judge, so he used grand jury powers instead to get direct access to the emails.

NYT journalist: “Every single person I’ve put that to was like, ‘I have never heard of that before. That’s extraordinary.’”

Whatever was in those emails, Durham was going to “extraordinary” lengths to get it. Something tells me this isn’t the last we’ll hear about them…

Also, I think the timing of this hit piece is based primarily on two motivators:

-The Times are getting ahead of something, maybe something BIG from Durham

-With Schiff off the House Intel Cmte, the Times have lost their mole, their line of sight into the Durham SCO

Wow. President Trump calls out George Soros in this clip.

Combine that with the recent news that Durham was looking into Soros, Schiff downplaying Durham, NYT Durham hitpiece and the recent indictments of the FBI agent involved in the Russia collusion hoax…

But nothing is happening, right?
