1. Once the reservoir finishes draining, the river will be much smaller and easier to ford by the AFU.

2. The flooding is forcing the abandonment of Russian defensive positions as well as the destruction of minefields along the River.

3. The destruction of the Dam means Crimea loses its water access.

The strategic benefits are obvious for Ukraine; up to this point Russia could economize in the Kherson sector, as the wide ranging river with no bridges precluded any serious amphibious assault.

By doing this terrorism, they’ve now created a realistic threat of such once the flood waters recede, which will divert Russian reserves to cover this sector instead of allowing them to be used against the Ukrainian offensive further East.

▪️ The other day, artillerymen of the Independent Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Northern Fleet engaged in an artillery duel with a German Panzerhaubitze 2000 (PzH 2000) self-propelled howitzer.

▪️ The PzH 2000 is considered one of the best modern self-propelled howitzers in the world, combining survivability, mobility, range and high rate of fire with various modern ammunition. It holds the world record for the longest range against a target.

Major Ukrainian Telegram channel deletes post about imminent blowing up of Kakhovka Hydroelectric Station

Earlier, when Ukrainian propaganda was obsessed with the dream of returning “their Kherson”, the Trukha channel from the Telegram social network openly announced that the dam would soon be blown up to flood the region.

And so it happened. However, the previous publication broke the whole concept of an attempt to accuse the Russian Army of deliberately undermining the dam. Therefore, the administration of the Telegram channel urgently deleted this news dated September 2022. But everyone remembers Telegram and its services, and caring people even more so.
