In the last few days, we discovered that one of the traders found a way to perform front running within our price update mechanism. This gave him the opportunity to get an advantage when opening and closing positions, which allowed him to make more trades with positive P&L.

We analyzed the user's actions and improved the price formation mechanism. Now the price of an asset is formed at the moment of signing a transaction in the blockchain.

After the update, the mechanism offers more accurate price formation for traders, protects the protocol and the liquidity vaults from this kind of manipulation and allows transactions to pass successfully under high load of the TON network. Such mechanics is a standard for DEXs running on EVM, and our developers managed to successfully implement it in the TON network!

On the team side, we have decided to fully compensate liquidity providers for their losses, and an equivalent amount from the exchange's insurance fund has already been added to the jUSDT vault.
