Today my lovely mum Came and collected all the hundreds off hats, gloves and socks we donated to the Selby Centre food hub for the annual Christmas gifting to help keep children warm this winter, the lovely @melina who owns Revival Rooms donated 150/200 snoods which will also keep not only the children warm and protected from the cold but also our homeless friends.

Some of the stuff ordered and delivered for one of the ladies and children we fundraised for yesterday has arrived, we have been placing ordered and helping struggling families the majority of last night and today.

What a manic 24 hours it has been, we’ve had Liz Denton Fitness For Health karate class deliver lots and lots of chocolates for our outreach and for families in need, we’ve had the lovely Charlene and her daughter come over and bring clothes for the local lady and kids we currently helping, we’ve handed out over £800 worth of presents, gift vouchers and food vouchers to families in need, booked a homeless gent into a hostel (which we will need to extend as if Monday) we’ve purchased a tree, lights and decorations for a family in need, wrapped a load of gifts, I’ve managed to get my kids to donate lots of their nice trainers, rucksacks and clothing to help the Leyton lady in need and we delivered.
So now a nice take away and a Christmas movie for us, but forever thankful for being blessed enough to be able to unwind at the end of the day with a roof over our head.

After literally loosing our cool and contacting the mp the lady and kids finally have hot water and a warm home, and Thanks to you all they now lots of Christmas presents and food for the holidays. Looks like things are finally on the up for this family, the heaters that were purchased will be donated to others in need 🙏
