As predicted by SPR and other experts, contact tracing is quickly reaching its limits and face masks are <a href="https://swprs.org/face-masks-evidence/">not limiting</a> infections.(Indeed, a recent US CDC study <a href="https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/pdfs/mm6936a5-H.pdf#page=4">confirmed that</a> 85% of infected people reported wearing a face mask “always” (70.6%) or “often” (14.4%). Compared to the control group of uninfected people, always wearing a mask did not reduce the risk of infection.)It is therefore important to offer focused protection to high-risk groups – as recently proposed by the <a href="https://gbdeclaration.org/">Great Barrington Declaration</a>, signed by leading epidemiologists but nevertheless <a href="https://www.spiked-online.com/2020/10/12/why-has-google-censored-the-great-barrington-declaration/">temporarily delisted</a> by Google – and to implement early and prophylactic <a href="https://swprs.org/on-the-treatment-of-covid-19/">treatment protocols</a>.Covid prophylaxis is particularly important for people at high risk living in epidemically active regions. This is because of the long incubation period of covid-19 (up to 14 days): when people first notice that they contracted the disease, the viral load is already <a href="https://swprs.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/covid-stages.png">at a maximum</a> and there are often only a few days left to react with an early treatment intervention.Covid prophylaxis, which must always be discussed with a doctor, <a href="https://swprs.org/on-the-treatment-of-covid-19/">may include</a> zinc, vitamins D and C, quercetin, bromhexine, and possibly aspirin and hydroxychloroquine (HCQ). HCQ was recently <a href="https://www.escardio.org/The-ESC/Press-Office/Press-releases/Study-shows-cardiac-safety-of-hydroxychloroquine-in-COVID-19-patients">confirmed to be safe</a> for covid patients by the European Society of Cardiology and has important anti-viral, anti-platelet, anti-thrombotic and immunomodulatory <a href="https://www.thieme-connect.com/products/ejournals/html/10.1055/s-0040-1713152">effects</a>.Most Western health authorities continue to ignore both the focused protection of high-risk groups and the early and prophylactic treatment of high-risk patients. Renewed partial or total lockdowns, as already introduced in Israel and parts of Spain, are therefore increasingly likely, despite the <a href="https://www.news.com.au/world/coronavirus/global/coronavirus-who-backflips-on-virus-stance-by-condemning-lockdowns/news-story/f2188f2aebff1b7b291b297731c3da74">recent WHO warning</a> describing them as a “terrible global catastrophe”.It is true that the WHO recently implied a global average covid IFR of <a href="https://swprs.org/studies-on-covid-19-lethality/">about 0.15%</a>, but this value is not applicable to Western countries. Lockdown kommen. · Remdesivir: An Epidemic Failure

SPR and other independent experts warned early on that the very expensive “anti-viral” drug remdesivir, produced by Gilead and hyped by the media, is a fraud failure. Dr. Paul Marik, author of the EVMS Covid-19 Critical Care Protocol, called remdesivir a “particularly useless drug” and Gilead’s aggressive PR campaign “Wallstreet-centered, not patient-centered”.The just published results of the global WHO Covid Solidarity trial now confirm that remdesivir reduced neither hospital stay nor mortality. But remdesivir is not just a “useless drug”, it may in fact be a dangerous one, as its liver and kidney toxicity in covid patients has been widely documented and is currently being investigated by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).Investigative journalist Dilyana Gaytandzhieva recently revealed how Gilead paid more than $200 million to US doctors and hospitals to promote its drugs despite several hundred drug-related deaths (this is referring to Gilead’s hepatitis C drug, in particular).Moreover, several of the fraudulent anti-HCQ studies were published by researchers linked to or paid by remdesivir producer Gilead. The WHO trial itself used toxic overdoses of HCQ, as first revealed by US doctor and biohazard expert Meryl Nass in June.Based on current scientific and clinical evidence, it is best to treat high-risk covid patients as early as possible to avoid progression of the disease and hospitalization. · The Suppressed Danish Mask Study
Already in April and May, a renowned Danish research group ran a randomized controlled trial with 6000 participants to determine the efficacy of facemasks against coronavirus infection. Three top medical journals have since denied the publication of this important study.Apparently, the rejection of the Danish study was due to political reasons: comments by several study authors indicate that the trial likely found no protective effect of masks (or even a negative effect). “To date, no journal was brave enough to publish it”, one author explained.Most health authorities relied on fraudulent mask studies and therefore ignored real protection measures for high-risk groups. Some densely populated regions in India and Brazil reached antibody values of up to 50%. Places like London, Madrid and Stockholm reached about 15%.However, even in hard hit countries like the US, the UK, Spain, France and Italy, the national antibody seroprevalence reached only about 5% on average. In much of Eastern Europe as well as in Germany and Canada, antibody values remained well below 2% until early summer.On the other hand, some places reached higher values than previously assumed. For example, according to a highly sensitive antibody test assay, Chicago reached 20% instead of just 5%.In addition, two new charts showing the mortality in the US since 1900 and in Sweden since 1851 have been added to the section on overall mortality. The Swedish mortality is comparable to previous strong seasonal flu waves; the US mortality is comparable to the medium influenza pandemics of 1957 and 1968, but remains far below the 1918 and 1929 flu pandemics.As previously noted, the median age of covid deaths is above 80 in most of Western Europe, about 78 in the US (due to higher rates of metabolic disease) and about 70 years in Brazil.Regarding post-acute or long covid, the latest British study shows that most people fully recover within 12 days, about 15% have symptoms for at least four weeks, about 5% have symptoms for at least eight weeks, and about 2% have symptoms for at least 12 weeks. Das Medianalter der Schweizer Corona-Todesfälle lag im Frühjahr bei 84 Jahren (Männer 83, Frauen 85). Bis Ende Oktober lag es nun sogar bei 86 Jahren (Männer 85, Frauen 87). Das Medianalter der Hospitalisierungen lag zuletzt bei 74 Jahren (BAG-Bericht KW 43).Doch auch den Senioren sei hier Zuversicht zugesprochen:Die Covid-Letalität für einen 85-Jährigen außerhalb eines Pflegeheims ist mindestens zehnmal geringer als für Gleichaltrige in einem Pflegeheim (2.5% vs. 30%).Selbst für Menschen in einem Pflegeheim lässt sich die Covid-Mortalität durch ärztliche Prophylaxe und Frühbehandlung laut internationalen Studien um bis zu 90% reduzieren.Selbst 100- bis 118-Jährige aus aller Welt haben das Coronavirus bereits gemeistert.

· Antikörperstudie München
(German only) Die Universitätsklinik München hat diese Woche die Ergebnisse ihrer Antikörperstudie zur ersten Corona-Infektionswelle in München veröffentlicht. Sie kommt auf eine Seroprävalenz von circa 1.8% (IgG/IgM) und eine IFR von insgesamt 0.76%.Die tatsächliche Verbreitung des Coronavirus dürfte auch in München etwas höher liegen (milde Fälle ohne messbare IgG-Antikörper). Der Anteil der Todesfälle in Pflegeheimen liegt in Deutschland bundesweit bei vergleichsweise niedrigen 36% (Schweiz: 50%, Belgien: 66%).Die tatsächliche IFR in der Allgemeinbevölkerung dürfte damit auch in München im Bereich von 0.3% bis 0.4% liegen, mit einem Medianalter der Todesfälle von circa 82 Jahren. Die Münchner Studie ist mithin konsistent mit der Streeck-Studie zum Gangelt-Hotspot (IFR 0.36%), wo zeitnaher und wesentlich intensiver getestet wurde und keine Pflegeheime betroffen waren.Im internationalen Vergleich weist Deutschland bisher eine sehr geringe Verbreitung des neuen Coronavirus und deshalb auch keine Jahresübersterblichkeit auf. Seit Anfang Oktober nahmen die Infektionen indes auch in Deutschland wieder zu, und seit Anfang November befindet sich Deutschland in einem zweiten “Lockdown” (wie von SPR bereits im August prognostiziert).Die Frühbehandlung von Covid-Risikopatienten, mit der sich Hospitalisierungen und Sterblichkeit laut zahlreichen internationalen Studien um 50 bis 80% reduzieren lassen, wird auch in Deutschland weiterhin gänzlich ignoriert. A safe and effective vaccine could be a very important tool to fight and end the covid pandemic. For countries that have managed to keep the new coronavirus out or under control (e.g. New Zealand), mass vaccination of their population is really the only possible exit strategy.Pfizer and BioNTech have recently announced that their vaccine is “90% effective”. This simple press release has increased the net worth of the BioNTech founder and the two main investors in the company by $2 billion.In reality, the “90% effectiveness” claim is based on just 94 cases, whose data hasn’t even been released yet. And vaccine experts have previously shown that the coronavirus vaccine trials are “designed to succeed”: they only consider if a vaccine reduces symptoms – even mild symptoms –, not if it reduces infections, transmission, hospitalizations, or deaths.In short, the “90% effectiveness” claim, at this point, is mostly PR. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, in particular, is a highly experimental vaccine based on novel mRNA technology and lipid nano particles, whose long-term health impact remains largely unknown.Historically, vaccines are said to have been a success in the 1957 and 1968 Asian flu pandemics, while they were a failure (ineffective, unnecessary or dangerous) in the 1976 and 2009 “swine flu” pandemics. The jury on the coronavirus vaccines is still out.

(German only)Im August und September kam es in einem Pflegeheim in der Schweizer Ortschaft Elgg zu einer doppelten Corona-Welle mit 56 Infektionen, darunter 25 hochbetagte Bewohner. Doch es kam zu keinen Todesfällen und zu keinen Hospitalisierungen. Medien und Ärzte sprachen von einem “Wunder” und einem “Rätsel” – und untersuchten den Vorfall seither dennoch nicht mehr.Aus professioneller Sicht gab es nur zwei realistische Erklärungen für das angebliche “Wunder von Elgg”: Eine Serie von falsch-positiven PCR-Tests durch Laborkontamination (wie bereits häufig passiert), oder eine erfolgreiche Prophylaxe bzw. Frühbehandlung.(Ein “abgeschwächtes Virus” oder die erneut nutzlosen Masken waren nie plausibel.)Vor kurzem machte eine Zentralschweizer Zeitung nun publik, dass Letzteres zutraf: Die Bewohner des Pflegeheims erhielten täglich 800 Einheiten Vitamin D, ein stark immun­unter­stützendes Steroidhormon. Eine französische Pflegeheim-Studie reduzierte damit die Covid-Mortalität um 89%, eine spanische Studie reduzierte Intensivbehandlungen um 96%. (Mehr)Die britischen Behörden haben eben erst die großflächige und kostenlose Abgabe von Vitamin D an Risikogruppen eingeführt sowie eine umfangreiche Studie zu Aspirin gestartet.Das wirkliche Rätsel ist also vielmehr, warum das Schweizer Bundesamt für Gesundheit, die Corona-Taskforce und die kantonalen Behörden die Corona-Prophylaxe und Frühbehandlung für Risikogruppen weiterhin vollständig ignorieren oder sogar noch aktiv davor warnen.Zumal die Schweiz nun das letzte Land Europas ohne Lockdown und Ausgangssperren ist.Hinweis: Privatpersonen wenden sich an ihren Arzt.
