One of the biggest revelations from IRS whistleblowers was that Special Counsel David Weiss, who has been investigating Hunter Biden, was denied authority to file charges against Hunter Biden in DC or California.

During his testimony, Weiss was able to provide some context on how that transpired.
Washington Post: Ukraine bombed the Nord Stream pipeline

“A senior Ukrainian military officer with deep ties to the country’s intelligence services played a central role in the bombing of the Nord Stream natural gas pipeline last year, according to officials in Ukraine and elsewhere in Europe, as well as other people knowledgeable about the details of the covert operation.”

Evidence that Special Counsel Jack Smith intends to introduce at Trump's DC trial -

Trump's support of those accused of J6 crimes - and his discussions of J6 pardons

Unreal.
Details on the new 9 count felony indictment against Hunter Biden.

The question remains: whether Special Counsel Weiss has the courage to charge Hunter with Foreign Agent Registration Act violations.

Michael Cohen's bid for early termination of supervised release encounters a roadblock -

His attorneys made up cases in support of Cohen's release.

The Judge noticed: "As far as the Court can tell, none of these cases exist."

"the Court contacted the Clerk of the Court for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, who found no record of any of the three decisions"

Cohen's attorney now must explain why he doesn't deserve sanctions.

Ouch.

A federal judge has ordered the unsealing of a number of John Does with ties to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell - including some alleged perpetrators.

We get down to the facts: who will be unsealed, the sensational lies about the John Doe "list", and why the unsealing won't be as significant as some have promised.
The Supreme Court DENIES Special Counsel Smith's request for expedited review of the case against Trump.

No mistake - this is a big loss for the Special Counsel.

The DC case against Trump won't go before the 2024 election.
After suffering personal losses and enduring crippling despair, one writer expressed a message of Christmas hope that still resonates to this day.

Merry Christmas!

Here’s the latest on the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Explosive allegations that Fulton County DA Fani Willis is sleeping with her subordinate - the Trump Special Prosecutor.

How Fani Willis enriched her lover, in violation of the law and ethical rules, to the tune of nearly $1 million.
Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade - who is overseeing the Fulton County case against Trump - was held in contempt for defying a court order in an acrimonious divorce proceeding with his wife.

Wade, a judge in Cobb County, Ga., ruled, had “willfully” failed to turn over documents about his income — including, his wife later said, income from his work on the Trump case.

A Fulton County Judge has scheduled an evidentiary hearing for February 15 on the motion to disqualify DA Fani Willis and Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade (also at issue is the motion to dismiss the RICO case against Trump, et al.).

Note - DA Willis and Wade have yet to file with the Court their response to the allegations that they're having an affair.
On that affair between Fulton County DA Fani Willis and Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade?

There are receipts.

Receipts for Caribbean cruises, receipts for hotels, receipts for travel to Miami and San Francisco and Napa Valley. The recusals of Willis and Wade are now a very real possibility.

NEW: a resolution for impeachment charges is filed against Fani Willis.

Alleges violations of Georgia law: (1) violation of oath of office, and (2) public officer malpractice.

Here they are:

Will more evidence of the Fani Willis and Nathan Wade relationship be released?

It looks like it. Wade's soon to be ex-wife is going after his banking and credit card records, demanding documents from Wade's bank and American Express. She has even subpoenaed a travel agency and demanded their records on Willis's travel.

I'd guess they want those records before Wade has to testify. It's only going to get worse.
Fulton County Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade's divorce case has settled.

This comes not long after his wife subpoenaed all of his financial records and travel records. It prevents discovery into his finances (and potential ethical issues in what he has purchased Willis), and shuts down Wade's testimony regarding his affair with Willis (which was supposed to occur tomorrow). It also forecloses on the potential that Fulton County DA Fani Willis would have to testify on their affair, trips, etc.

In light of what was going to be made public, Wade opened up his checkbook and gave his soon-to-be ex-wife an offer she couldn't refuse. This, my friends, is what we call leverage.

Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia rejects President's Trump request to dismiss his DC indictment.

Quote: "Any executive immunity that may have protected him while he served as President no longer protects him against this prosecution."

This will be headed to the Supreme Court. The DC case will not go to trial before the election.

Hard to predict such things, but we'll go for it:

We find it more likely than not that the Supreme Court does not rule on the immunity issue before the 2024 election. This will allow the Court to defer making a ruling on a novel question of first impression (Presidential immunity from criminal prosecution) that will have significant consequences. Should Trump be elected, he will have the power to pardon himself. Should he lose the election, the Court can make its ruling after that time. The Court isn't in a rush to decide this issue, and such a strategy will keep it from making an election-altering decision. The Court is sensitive to its public perception and generally doesn't want to insert itself into electoral matters.
