What are the words that have been spoken to you that have wounded or “cursed” you?
“You're so clumsy...You'll never amount to anything...You'll never change...You're going to be just like your mother...You'lnever find anyone to love you...I wish you were dead...I wish you'd never been born...You always...You never.. etc.
How many times out of anger have we spoken word curses out of our ignorance?
Words are powerful, & death & life are in the power of the tongue.
When we curse, demean, diminish, or belittle with our words, we speak lies—Satan's language.
When we speak the truth of God's Word into people's lives, we bless them.
Maybe we should ask "Holy Spirit" to remind us of Korah's catastrophe next time we think of grumbling &
complaining!
Korah led a revolt against Moses; he died, along with all his co-conspirators, when "GOD" caused "the earth to open her mouth & swallow him & all those standing with him against Moses. Numbers 16:31-33
Murmuring & Complaining does not give "GOD" glory. What it does do is repel people away from Him, & give those that are not Christians saying we are no better than them....
